Dhumakot Sangliya International Group has been discussing global reality vis-à-vis local reality at the site.  Political leaders are the same everywhere.  The nature of man is the same everywhere.  From your study of Professor Neill Ferguson's work, you have started fearing about the future of India .  Any country that does not invest in R&D has a reason to fear about the future.  Why did Spain lose its hold on both the continents of America much before the arrival of the wave of anti colonialism?  Why did France sell its territory to USA ? They did not work for consolidation of its territories as the British did.  The spirit behind the focus on R&D may be considered as iBusiness.  Why only people like Inder Singhji, Thomas Abraham and others worked for NFIA and Gopio? They were not funded for this type of work by some authority.  This may be considered as iBusiness.  Dhumakot Sangliya experiment has so far not reached the ground.  Why?
Only Nehru knew why it is necessary to invest in R&D?  Why has Obama plans to double the investment in basic research?  Nehru knew the need to provide one per cent of the budget on scientific research.  This was the call of WFSW then.  The colonial science that was quite developed in India did not know the spirit, that is, the iBusiness of R&D.  Where from did Lenin get the idea of spending on scientific research? All was because that was the experience of Royal Society.  No other country had as powerful academic body as the Royal Society was.

The World Federation of Scientific Workers was designed to be helpful in dealing with mass poverty in the decolonized countries of Asia, Africa and Latin America .  The British had influence in India .  The Soviet Union did not join WFSW.  She joined WFSW when the process of détente was started and she decided to join UN.   Professor Ferguson has no experience of the Royal Society. Mary Jo Nye, Horning Professor in the Humanities, Professor of History, History of Modern Physical Sciences, Oregon State University has. We find in American Professors that they limit their work to a very narrow field. Her interest was in Blackett and the 19th century Royal Society and not beyond.  But I have now found interest in Professor Jeremi Suri, who is a history professor at the University of Wisconsin . His publications include The Global Revolutions of 1968 and Power and Protest: Global Revolution and the Rise of Détente.

So much about my academic work.  But we cannot avoid politics from development.  Politics is the highest form of eBusiness. Why should a scientist be interested in removal of poverty? But the politician has to be interested in this area.  Poor people have the right to vote.  In the earlier stages perhaps bribing can build a vote bank. A stage has come in India when Gandhi and Nehru are not able to win elections for Congress and religious sentiments are not able to win elections for BJP.  Things are changing for Indian Americans also.  A 'TPS Rawat' is going to take over NFIA within a few days.  C K Patel is going to take over as the President of NFIA.  He fought election as a Congress candidate during the last elections.  He has now joined BJP.  It is said that he will work for improving the image of Narendra Modi in USA .  General T P S Rawat won elections on Congress Ticket.  He became a Minister in the Tiwari Congress.  He was
re-elected as MLA on Congress ticket. Sonia Gandhi wanted to name him as leader of Congress party.  The state congress had its own politics.  General Rawat resigned his seat and made it available for General Khanduri.  The Parliamentary seat vacated by Khanduriji was won by General Rawat on BJP ticket.

Tiwariji could not do much for the hilly part of the state.  It is difficult to industrialize hilly part of the state because private capital can not be spent on research and development.  The state has to spend on R&D.  It will be difficult for Obama to fulfill his promises in USA because these promises cannot be fulfilled by known strategies.

But the first thing to be understood in iBusiness is that it is not a replacement for eBusiness.  Work will still be done by eBusiness.  But this will be done in such way as to benefit the poor.

The politician any where in the world is not as safe as he or she been so far.  Even earlier successful politicians have been those who valued R&D.  Let as wait for the outcomes of NFIA and Gopio.  I have given this provocative title to attract attention to the importance of Dhumakot Sangliya Experiment.
