Uttarakhand Groups on Internet

The hilly part of Uttarakhand needs industries.  A lot of research and development is required to be done in this direction.  Uttarakhand is heavily loaded with top class educational  and research institutions.  It is obivious that they have done what was possible within the frameworks of their Charters.  What is required is the understanding of the concept of technological nurseries to focus global knowledge in local settings.  Dhumakot Sangliya experiment is the pioneering technological nursery.  The work of Dhumakot Sangliya groups is important.  The work of Dhumakot Sangliya International Group is particularly important. It is working with the Global Organisations of People of Indian Origin.  This organisation came through the efforts of certain people who were instrumental in bringing the groups of Indian Americans in one platform by Organising National Federation of Indian Americans.  Indian Americans are important.  They form the
richest community of Americans, The report about NFIA convention says:

"The National Federation of Indian American Associations (NFIA) is an umbrella organization comprised of over 210 associations representing the unified voice of nearly 2.5 million Indian Americans, who trace their roots to India. NFIA was established in 1980 to conduct, coordinate, and promote activities directed towards the preservation of the values of Indian culture and to protect the rights of people of Indian origin in the United States. The NFIA accepts membership from all Indian Organizations without any regards to their regional, religious, professional, linguistic or political affiliation."

You will find that this Federation has so far not given a thought to do something to remove poverty in the country of their origin.  Gopio is a  similar trade union to look after the interests of their respective communities.  But both of these groups are now interested to do some thing.

It is therefore natural that Uttarakhandi Delhlites have not given a thought the Development of Uttarakhand.  But a new generation of leaders is coming up through internet.  This community should educate itself in the direction of helping the people of Uttarakhand.
