Dear Gaur Ji,

Whatever you are putting your views as a reply on this mail, I completely
disagree with you. Why we should not expose these types of social crimes?
Who will do? Garhwal Hitashani Sabha is an organization of Uttarakhandi
people; all people are responsible for what is being good & bad. If Garhwal
Hitashani Sabha get defame by someone bad deeds then it is also an insult to
all of us. It is an asset of our forefathers (Some are still in between us
and some are not in between us). who will take care of it?

I agree that the allegations may not be valid until court proves it but who
will take this type of matter in the courts? If someone has shown the
courage to do it, to expose such type of evils then why we are not
supporting him? These are not written on the forehead of anyone that is
honest and dishonest. If concerning person is really innocent he will prove
himself in the court.

You are saying that this group has been formed for only people for Pauri
Garhwali, you are completely wrong, it is for all Uttarakhandi. We people
discuss her various kinds of matters related to our Uttarakhand like we
discuss here regarding development of our Uttarakhand, social evils,
education system, health related issue, job-matrimonial and so many other
things and then why we will not discuss this issue, why we will not approve
these type of mails?. I also heard indirectly same news about Garhwal
Hitashani Sabha's form president but I was unable to take this matter into
the courts. I respect this person who has dare to thought into this matter
and took this matter in courts.

I just want to put my views, nothing else.

I got an e mail in which my fellow members of the PG group have
mentioned about irrregularties commiteed by ex president of the Garhwal
Sabha The allegations may or may not be valid. Only a court could prove
this . What I would like to say to the PG group is that PG group should be
carefull not endorce this type of news or views on the PG group web site I
think.that this group, was only originally setup to help our sisters and
brothers from Pauri garhwal. Please do not allow this paltform to be used
by anyone as a tool for defaming others for their personal beneftis. As I
said that this news may be valid but We have to think twice before allowing
this kind of view to be expressed on this website. Please note that this is
a social group and not a politcal group. We should not indulge in such
politics in any manner.

Friends as we know that there is a very old society named GARHWAL HITASANI
SABHA, REGD. ESTT. IN 1923 IN KARNCHAI. SAID SABHA has their own Garhwal
Bhawan in Panchkuya Road New Delhi.110001, it has very long time of
experience and there is its historical place and respect between Garhwali
and other communities, but due to shameful activities of its former
president Mr. Vickram Singh adhikari sabha is facing very critical position,
Mr. Vickram Singh Adhikari has been charged for financial and constitutional
violation of the GARHWAL HISTASNI SABHA during his tenure 2002-2007. a FIR
has been lodged against Mr.Vickram Singh Adhikari and mr. Chander Pal Ssingh
Rawat and Mr. Ravi Gupta Mandir Marg Police Station, Ravi Gupta is the
person who has been occupied first floor and many area of Garhwal Bhawan has
been given him by Mr. Vickram Singh Adhikar illegally and he was getting 50
thousands rupees per month from Ravi Gupta under the table. Adhikari has
given him Reception
portion and Library and two room in main hall upper stairs of Garhwali
Bhawan. AC permission and other construction permission was given by Vickram
Singh Aghikari to Ravi Gupta. Actually adhikari has turned Garhwal Hitasani
Sabha and its bhawan as own property there are totally 2000 two thousands
life member with garhwal histasani sabha out of them 550 members are from
Adhikari's own listed 117 member from his onw village Aleru, 87 number from
birgan village and there are number of member made by adhikari from his own
relative and friends from tehri garhwal. There are 23 members living in a
one room quarter in madingir according their address as they all are member
of sabha.
According reliable sources that Adhikari has looted nearabout 75 lakh ruppes
from Gahwal Hitasani Sabha during his tenure2002-2007. booking of main halls
and guest houses there are many irregularities all are made by Vickram Singh
Ahikari.
Last month nearabout 247 life member of Garhwal Histasni Sabha has given an
joint Memorandum to acting present Mr. Manmohan Budakoti for investigation
all the 14teen points has been given in said memorandum. Mr. adhikari today
also affecting said investigation and people are misguide by adhikari. He is
trying that truth should be not come before the people.
So! We appeal to all of that please see the matter and save garhwal bhawan.

Please reply and do something's positive in this regard..

Dear Lakhera Ji,

Kindly refer to the earlier e-mails of Shailja Ji and the reply posted
by Sh. Ram Prasad
on behalf of her e-mail. The replies on this subject clearly indicates
that the subject and the body of the orginial e-mail sent my Mrs.
Shailja Ji has been overlooked. In her e-mail Shailja Ji has clearly
stated that she's pondering over the issue of our mother tongue i.e.
"Garhwali" requesting all the members to try their level best to
converse with each other in their mother tongue (which is completely
under our control). She has not requested to bring any kind of
industrial revolution in the remote localities of Uttarakhand. As a
reply Sh. Ram Prasad have explicated about the American generation
starting another issue of economic status of the left over Uttarakhandis
in the remote localities, which is not at all relevant to the issue
raised by Shailja Ji. Had the question been raised on the betterment of
economic status of of the left
behind residents then his reply (the earlier and the present one) would
have been relevant. But here the thing which has been pondered upon is
logically on the vanishing language culture of Uttrakhand and not the
economic status.

Secondly, he has raised a question regarding the betterment of those who
are still residing in the remote localities of hilly terrains on the
context that these people know only Garhwali and
Kumaoni languages. I just referred his this point as vague. What has
language to do with the betterment of these so called "Poor" (termed by
him) people? Ghalib was an illiterate person but his poetries have been
accepted and appraised everywhere. And again I repeat my wordings that
the left behind people are not poor in any sense but the real poor are
the ones who have just expatriated from their motherland emancipating
themselves from the fear factor of
being jobless or for elevating their economic status. Before pondering
over the issue of doing something for the betterment for the ones who as
per his definition are poor as they have been left behind we should ask
once from these naive people that are they really interested to leave
behind their legacies and be expatriates like us. I guess that the
percentage of the reply as "No" will epitomize the answer to your query.

So, it's an earnest appeal to all the members to go through the
subject/topic of the e-mails once before you cast your views.
