€ ¦ I am shocked to see a series of letters on this issue with no relevance.I want to bring in your kind€ ¦ notice that a budget allocation of 40 crore rupees have been made for the Rishikeash Karanparyag Rail line in the new budget.A total expenditure plan of worth 4295.30 crore has been passed by the railway ministry for this most ambitious rail plan.In the history of india first time Rail connectivity for garhwal hills was € ¦ planned and now the Govt is implementing it.The security of our nation is foremost important for us and on the other side it would hep us in streamlining our Chardham Yatra project,which will bring lakhs of pilgrims from all over the world as they will get a better tourist travel facility.The new rail budget has also sanctioned a new rail route of Ram Nagar,Kotdwar-Haridwar.They are also going to start new trains from Roorkee to Haridwar and from Rishikesh to Doiwala.The rail facility
is also extended from Dehradun to Kalsi.Haridwar is already on World tourist map and many new trains are now planned going via Haridwar.
€ ¦ So,many new things are being done and for that Garhwal M.P Mr.Satpal Maharaj should specially be thanked who has done hard work like "Bhagirath",who had brought "Rail Ganga" for garhwal hills first time in the history of India.New surveys have been ordered for Bageshver Tanakpur,Ram Nagar -Chakhutia rail lines and this is also very significant as€ ¦ by these surveys only we can asses the latest expenditure on new project.We hope these surveys will prove final surveys and after some time our holy hills will also be connected with rail as strongly as they are are connected in Tibet by our counterpart China,which€ ¦ was always a threat for the security and integrity of our nation.

as a common man, I would like to state that the rail budget debate on this
email thread was without any substance before Mr. Pratap had to reply with
factual details. If Railways minister matches deeds with her words as
regards to her promoting projects for public good even if it is financially
unviable, then it certainly is a welcome budget for Uttarakhand.

when it comes to politics of development, devbhumi/veerbhumi is always comes last, anyway uttarkhand don't need to much support from INDIAN govt as it is blessed with natural resouces but we need something to preserve this beauty/its development.

When you people talk about B C Khanuri, the first CM who really thought about development of uttarakhand e.g. to save its natural beauty,culture ( to save languages/promoting to soldier/have a vision of making pahadi language as state languages) and heritage.But ended up with very bad ways, because of some stupid blackship who€ ¢Â are in every society do politics based on caste,bribery,region etc.
€ ¢Â
But we people are solely responsible for that.we did not do any agitation against the bad decision of BJP goverment for replacement of khanduri.
€ ¢Â
if we really want a good leader we can force our uttarakhand govt., we don't need congress or BJP but we need someone who can make uttarkhand more beautiful than ever.

My daughter is appearing in the 12th board exam and hopefully with your good wishes she will not only clear the exam but will get some good percentage in her final exam.
Anyone in the group can clarify me the following:
1) For taking admission in BA English Honors, is she required to appear in the Common Aptitude Test for English (CATE).
2) Which colleges in Delhi are not taking above test?
3) Is the above course is good in term of€ ¦ career building.
4) Can we get some sample papers of last year CATE for this exam?
