Dear Friends,
This is to introduce thro' yahoo group a small organization of Uttarakhand brethren who has formed a viable Mandal at Bhilai,Chhatisgarh(erstwhile M.P.).Bhilai Steel Plant, a pulsating giant beckoned many of us in mid fifties and after-wards. By and by a size-able majority of Uttarakhand people came and worked with full vigor in all aspects of steel making.In course of time a Parishad of some kind was formed and people would often meet in members' homes.
Kalantar me, we collected funds to have a regular Bhavan.A plot of good size was leased out by Steel Authority. Many of us made our Karma-Bhumi our abode yet reminiscing the beautiful Pahar and the melodious cool breeze.
Now, recently members decided to have a Shiva temple, a replica and in the Shaily of uttarakhand should be build to fulfill an aspiration for a Istha-Dev. We request of our M.P.Shri Tara chand sahu recently did Bhumi-pujan and we named the temle as Bhilai's Bhilshwar Mahadeo.With Lord Shiva.s grace when completed it will be a Sharal,Sundar Shivalaya,sending waves far and near.
We also vousafed that the Deity of The Lord will not be a desinger oneThis will be a Vintage Shiva and Shakti carved out of one rock from the banks of Sarayi-Gomti at Bageshwar, from the banks of Alakhnanda at Karnpriyag, Bhisnupiyag etc.We shall bring the rock with great fanfare to Bhilai where it would be given final touches by deft local craftmen and then we are looking for the Pran-Pratishtha .
Dear members. we being very far from these sites would know little about the arcological or mining aspect and as also where we can get such a rock. I invite your kind and beningn suggestions thro our foram in this regard.
Also i must appeal to one and all to donate some amout as per one's capability.The donations are operated by a govrning body and are auditable.
Donation can be made out by x check in the name of Shivalaya Nirman Samiti,Uttarakhand Sanskritic Mandal Bhilai .
