of India should remain secured.

3. To provide a national level recognition to our language.

4. To provide 27% reservation for the UTTARAKHAND PRAVASIS

5. To provide the domicile of residency.

6. To sort out the matrimonial problems.

7. The objectives achieved by the common discussions will be
taken in to account.

8. To stand up for the protection of our self esteem and pride.

To discuss these points a meeting is going to held on Sunday, 20 July
2008 at the Head Office – 109, Digdiga Vishal Khand -1,
Gomati Nagar, Lukhnow. Under the banner of AKHIL BHARATIYA PRAVASI
UTTARAKHAND MAHASANGH there is a huge meeting going to take place and
your presence is expected. There is the proper arrangement of food

A new initiative perhaps be informed about the current trends in the development world over.  The problems of Uttarakhand or any backward are can only be attended if technological nurseries are set up to apply gobal knowledge to local problems. 
At this stage you are concerned by inviting Lucknow people to come and do some rituals to start a new organisation.  I wish you all success.

Just to update you on the subject. Please note that Mr. Bharti, patient's father, has informed me that he is planning to come to Delhi on 25th June, 2008 and before going to the Apollo Hospital, he would first consult the AIIMS doctors. An appointment with AIIMS doctor has already been taken for 25th June, 2008.

For your kind information, in the morning, I had a detailed discussion on the subject with Ms. Sanjana Raturi, who is arranging donations in US for Master Alok and as per our discussions, now its time that we tell the family that they should plan to come to Delhi and admit Master Alok in the Apollo Hospital. I would be giving him some short of assurance that the funds will be collected/ arranged before 20th May, 2008. Please act accordingly.

JUST ABOUT PG GROUP:

PG Group is a social group of people who believe in giving back to their Society. It's a group of people of Uttarakhand, who are working outside Uttarakhand & have passion for doing something for their society. Almost 99% members of the group are working in private companies and even though they are very tide up with their daily jobs, sparing some time for the needy people of our dev_bhumi. PG Group is a voluntary non-profit registered TRUST (registered with Registrar of Delhi), which is also an online yahoo group engaged in the upliftment of less privileged section of Uttarakhand State.

MASTER ALOK'S CASE:

Family of Master Alok has approached us after they could not get any help from other institutions/ government authorities. For your kind information, in the past also, PG Group has helped one bone cancer patient (master Deepak) of Uttarakhand by collecting more than Rs.7 Lacs for his treatment from the group members and from other sources including NRIs.

Some of the members/donors have suggested that the family should approach to Sathya Sai Institute, Bangalore, who conducts free operation/surgery & charge nothing from the heart patient but the fact is something else. They had also gone their for the treatment of his son but it was totally surprised for them that the institute has told them that they can not treat the child due to certain reasons, which only patient's family can tell.

Only Apollo Hospital, Delhi has given them some hope that by conducting immediate surgery, life of the patient can be saved. One of the doctors in the Apollo Hospital, who is an Uttarakhandi, has given them estimate for Rs.1.5 Lacs for the treatment of the patient. This doctor will not charge his fees etc. and will also try to minimize the treatment expenses.

For your kind information, PG Group does not have any financial source and all our initiatives are driven by our members. We value the contribution of each of our members. As informed earlier, PG Group has a very transparent fund system and each donor is informed about utilization of his/her funds.

As you may perhaps aware that PG Group Trustees have (8 trustees) have contributed Rs.10000/- for the treatment of Master Alok but the family needs atleast Rs.1.25 Lacs so that they can come to Delhi and admit him in the hospital. Donations can be made thru PG Group Trust and your contribution can be transferred in the Group's following account with your instructions and mail to me or to the group.

OTHER ACTIVITIES OF THE GROUP:

1) To help the less privileged children based on their talent till they become self supporting individual. We conduct awareness-cum-sponsorship camps in remote villages of Uttarakhand. This you can check from the files, which you are receiving at the time of joining of the group. Next awareness-cum-sponsorship camp will be held in Masi Village of Uttarakhand.

2) To help shunned families to live a better life during old days.

3) To help people with dire straits to meet the expenses for medical treatment.

4) To help in the development of Uttarakhandi culture.

5) Last but not the least, give back to society by all means.
