Subject : Record of Discussion of the meeting of Foundation Shurwaat held at 11.00 AM in 22nd June 2008 in Badrinath Mandir Prangan, West Vinod Nagar, New Delhi.
To : All Members
1. The meeting of the Foundation Shurwaat was held on 22nd June 2008 at Badrinath Mandir Prangan, West Vinod Nagar, New Delhi.
2. The meeting was started at 11.00 A.M. by giving an introduction of the individual member with general discussion. The gist of discussion are given below:
The members have been appraised about the progress of the project. Discussion was held on the subject matter that what is our targets and what we achieved till date and what we have to done to for timely achievement of our targets and reduce our error level. Shri Naresh Chandra has visited project area during June 8-11, 2008. He has apprised his outcome during the visit, which is shortly be circulated to you in due course.
Shri Ashok Pokhriyal and Shri Akhilesh Gusai has kind agreed to give computer training to Shri Naresh Chandra (Delhi Office coordinator). We are thankful for their cooperation.
Our main discussion was on our next Core Member visit to project area. The visit will be held in the month of July 2008 (19-20). The following Core Members have given their consent for the visit.

The discussion was held on the following points:
G.I.C. Kulanikhal
· Meeting will be held with Principle and Teachers to sought out their problem and action plan for students for the year 2008-09.
· Scholarship distribution to the students – Interview has already done during previous visit and other preliminary enquiry such as their result and teachers views was also done.
· Some books required by school will also take during the visit and placed them into library.
· Home Science lab will be set up under which items will be arranged. Shri Ashok Pokhriyal has kind agree to borne expenses of Home Science lab except Sewing Machine. [We will seeking information from members who will donate their old sewing machine in this regard]
· In order to encourage the IQ level of students as well as to save our culture, certain cultural (folk dance, song) and IQ level programme (speech & Debater) will also conducted during the visit. Speech on certain subject will be held.
· Sports goods will also be taken for students such as volleyball, chess, carom, football etc.
· Subscription of one daily newspaper and Employment News.
Kaligaad Gram Sabha
· During the last visit, Shri Naresh Chandra has prepare a list of 14 student of Class 10 & 12, who are living in village covered under Project Kaligaad. Out of 14 Students 4 got first class and other got second class. It has been decided in the meeting that we will full sponsored the education of student who secured first position in class 10 and half sponsored whoc secured second position. We will also sponsored the full expenses of pre-examination of any professional course for those students who secured first in 12th Exam and half expense, who secured second position. Shri Akhilesh Gusai has kind agreed to full sponsored one one student who secured first position in Class X.
· The visiting team will meeting villagers. Meeting has already been fixed. During the meeting the issue of cooperative, next crop, other source of income and education of their children will be discussed. We will also discuss the issue of registration of cooperative.
· We will visit in the field to see the progress of Soyabeen.
· We will also discuss the issue of Birthday Plant plantation.
· We will also given to the new syllabus for personality development school, which is running in Kaligaad Talla Village.
· Discussion will also be held with the persons of Nirashirt Pension Yojana so that their satisfaction level can be judged.
· We may also talk to villagers and insist them to join village cooperative.
General issues
· Core member will coordinate in each and every issues and reply to each mail floating in the group.
· Core Member will meet one in a week through Yahoo Messenger or other mean of discussion so that important issues will be discussed within time limit.
· We may request each member to write in their friend circle and invite them to join Foundation SHURWAAT. So that they can simultaneously done work for FS. We may also request members to submit membership fee regularly.
· We may also request member to give their consent on items, which we have to procure for school and gram sabha. So that FS fund will not use in these items. Members can donate their used items for this purpose. Fresh list of items requirement will be circulated soon.
· The issue of how remote member can contributes was also discussed. A separate mail will be circulated to the group in this regard soon.
· Shri Akhilesh Gusai and Shri Pundreek Semwal was also agree to link our website in their official website. Shri Pundreek Semwal is also agree to re-develop our site through their web team.
FOLLOW UP ACTION
10. The following follow up action is required from the members:
i. Members are requested to given their consent on procurement of items (list will be circulated through separate mail.
ii. Core members may please give their feedback for forthcoming visit.
iii. Members may please increase membership through one to one mail to their friend circle.
iv. Members may please submit their membership fee. Details of fee will be given in the website.
v. Members are requested to use Foundation Shurwaat's website (http://www.foundationshurwaat. ) in their signature so that other can know the activities of FS.org
vi. Members who are interested to donate or sell their second hand items such as sewing machine, Mike, Speaker, Amplifier for Project Area and computer Table, 10 folding or plastic chair for Delhi Office.

A good news to share with you guys. We finally got the Desktop for our Office. Same was donated by NPCC Abu Dhabi, UAE (A Oil and Gas giant) to help charitable org. It was possible because Mr. Rana works with same company and requested them to help Foundation SHURWAAT.
�
And after that to send the same to Delhi, he reduced the luggage of his family (his wife and kids were coming only) �which was coming to Delhi for vacation and shipped the Desktop and scanner instead.
�
Hats off to such dedication and level of support. Its a example of "where there is the will, there is the way". But with this sort of help we all should gear up as expectation level of sponsors of goes high, so guy let finish remaining task.

Dear Friends,
As per follow up action on the discussion held on 22.06.2008, a list of items required before the forthcoming visit of July 2008. IF it optional for sponsorship. Those members who are intered to some items fully or part of it, they can sponsored it. Second hand items can also be given to us. IF somebody want to sell their second hand items as mentioned in list, we will purchase it.
Kindly reply as early as possible. As these items is urgently required by beneficiaries of project area. Hence we have to provide it urgently. Either we will collect items from members or we will purchase from our own source.
