All India Congress Committee Member and Former State Ranked Minister in Uttarakhand Government Mr.Dhirendra Pratap has urged the uttarakhand Government to immediatelly make "public"the report of justice Dikshit Commission report related to the issue of finding the place pf the permanent capital of Uttarakhand.
In a statement Mr.Dhirendra Pratap expressed deep displeasure ,anger and anguish over the governments decsion for giving this report to the state Chief Secretary with illogical remarks that after the Chief Secretary's approval and study the Government would go ahead on this important issue.Criticising the Govt.decision Mr.Prastap said that the 1.25 Crore Uttarakhandis living from Dehradun to Delhi & from Bironkhal to Bosten(America) were waiting eagerly the outcome of the Commissions sujjestions since number of years but now when the Commission has submitted its long awaited report the report has been given to the bureaucracy about whose attitude everubody knows that it will never give nod to Gairsain,as the new place for the permanent capital, which was & is always the "dream capital" of the Uttarakhandi martyrs & agitators.
Mr.Pratap appealed the Chief Minister to not to provide a tool in the hands of bureaucracy to crush the dreams of the agitators and opined that the a strong will is required of the present govt.to settle this ticklish issue. The bureaucrats has nothing to do with the issue of deciding capital and its the duty of the Chief Minister his cabinet and alliance partners Uttarakhand Kranti Dal leadfers to work honestly on this vital issue othervise the bureaucrats will through this report in the dustbin for the sake of the interests of their familys facilities forgetting the development of 16000 remote villages of Uttarakhand and the the aspirations of the women power which has led the Uttarakhand agitation from the front for bringing a new ray of hope of a developed Uttarakhand. He warned that if the Govt.would not respect the hopes, aspirations and sentiments of the hill people they would have no  alternative other then to organise "a new sustained
agitation"for pressing the present govt.to fullfill the popular public demand.
