Greetings from PAHAR (People's Association for Himalaya Area Research) www.pahar.org

Dr. Sekhar Pathak, Editor and Founder of PAHAR, cordially invites all its well wishers and associates, who can come to Dehradun and join us in celebrating the 25th year's function as per the schedule below:

Venue : Town Hall, Dehradun
Date : April 5th and 6th ( Sat & Sun)

Programme:

5th April (Sat) at 5 PM in the Town Hall.

Release of the PAHAR 14-15 (Askot Arakot Volume) by
Shri Chandi Prasad Bhatt and contributors accompanied by a lecture on "War and Peace in the Himalaya" by Ram Guha.

6th April (Sun) at 4 PM in the Town Hall.

PAHAR RAJAT SAMMAN 2008 to eight creative personalities of the region-
Yoganand, Ruskin Bond, Vidya Sagar Nautiyal, HD Bhatt 'Shailesh',
Lalita Chandola Vaishnava, Jeet Singh Negi, Radha Krishna Kukreti and
Paripurnanand Painyuli. They will speak and give their message for the
people and young generation.

Distribution of UANA Scholarship awards.

In the end a selected 50 slides related with the Himalayan life will
be screened by Mr. Threesh Kapoor.

Girda and Narendra Negi will recite their most popular lines and stanzas.
