While Our Gps gives us their plateform for free flow debates concerning development of our sacred land, I wish to suggest a few of points .

Email is a media to convey and exchange the inner guestures. The mails therefore, should have to be
always touchy ones

I suggest our mail should commence with the words usually spoken in Uttaranchal while writing letters..

like Shri ..Priya ... Bhaiji or Adarneeya Deedi ji in place of "hi "

coz this "hi" word is neither ours nor does it conform our Sanskrity (strong culture)

Similarly in closing Apaka Apna or otherwise Aapaa ku Apnu Hi Bhula ..... or any other touchy feeling ...

2ndly the mail sud be a specific one and not deviating one from subject......The arguments should be coarsing swiftly and softly, politely with an aim to induce reader that there was no intention to hurt any one....

in fact it wud be more better if the mail is written in 3rd person.

3rdly we must always post the noticeable development in the area of each of us for the information of others. so that everyone can be aware with the social , economical and public welfare development .

Coz it seems many of our ppl are not un aware about the development happening in the UA and have Still grief image. It boosts the morale of other fellow readers

This wud be form a part of transperencey and at the same time wud boost morale of our ppl.

In case any mail discharging a little of heat shud be always addressed to Mod of group and not the Gp or any individual itslef. The Moderator would check for the heat if any and may edit or re-word before release...

The dilects, phrases (aukhaan) of Uttaranchali in the local dialect can play a vital rol in furnishing the mail..
As Gps emerging as a common platform to exchange our views, so we all sud share our perspective on the current economical , social and educational but never political, Cast Creed..

Let us always neglect the debates like a rift between Shri N.D.Tiwari and Shri Naraneder Singh Negi ,

There is no harm if our mail shows full address of uttaranchal ....this is going to be again touchy... and leaving a impact ..

If these things are taken care of..I am sure that we will find our Uttaranchal a heavenly Abode on earth .

Re: Moral Education and personality development School in Village

Hi! Anamika/All,

Its our mistake... We shd ve mentioned it earlier.

Actually there are 2 set of Students:

1) Who are not going to School (Age 3-8 Years)
2) Who are going to school but lacking due to English, Personality and Maths (5 to 15 Years)

Now , For the first set of Students we are teaching them thru regular methods.. so nothing required for them.

Now For 2nd Type students Age and Class doesn't matter... as they all are at same stage for English, Calculations, Personality and Moral Education.

So you all can help us in designing course for very basic level, assuming Kids of Class 1st.... and same will be applicable for first Year at least.....

We need to create Monthly module.... and start with very basic level but interesting.... we need to cover that gap between Village School and City Schools... in term of Basic level Personality and confidence....

i want to know the age group and class of kids attending our school.depending on their age we can look for the books and then design syllabus.fun learning books in easy language both hindi and eng are also available for quick maths, science ,gk etc.
we can get a set of these books and give it to village teacher

Dear Deepak jee,

We can use few magazines or books for moral stories...and iam very much positive that stories from these books and magazines will improve there knowledge, moral, cultural values...
childrens can learn many things from these but keep in mind as childrens in village schools generally poor in reading and understanding (good hindi) and thus reluctant... so it is a advise to have some teacher for them to do this for them....

also we should emphases on hindi books for stories as it is too much to expect from them to understand english and this make them reluctant... ...

above is my experience.. ..

- chandamama --- 175/- approx yearly subscription. .
- amar chitr katha....
- Jatak katha, panchatantra, betal pacheesee etc....there are many publishers
any body can sponser magazines... .

Ashok

Dear All...

Would like to explain u the purpose of Village School... (other than Kulanikhal Inter Collage)...

We are not Running that school as normal school.... we wanna teach kids those portions which they are not getting in their regular school... Like Practical and Spoken English through Poems and usual words/sentences. ... Calculation thru nice stories and Quiz... Moral edu to tell them whats gud and wats bad since childhood... Games to improve personality and analytical power.... and same can't be found in any one book.. we need to design this course keeping kids mentality in mind..

Dear all, most of them from you ve asked me this question that what can we do remotely... this is the task you can do remotely... Kindly help us in designing course and contents with regular updates...

Dear friends

U are already aware that foundation shuruwaat is working for upliftment of rural people from Kaaligaad and that we are running a kids school there to teach them what they are not getting in regular School. As per our objectives we are now planning to design a new syllabus for Moral Education and personality development of village children so that rural kids may gain confidence and can compete with urban kids at same level.
To achieve our objective inputs are required from all the members of our team.

I would like to have suggestions and ideas from u all on what should be included in syllabus.
I am listing the subjects which will be incorporated in the course
1. Basic useful English with its meaning like Poems/Text/Grammer
2. Quick maths with Example and interesting Facts and Tricks
3. Moral stories and Songs
4. GK and Personility Development Lessons

Hoping to get positive response from all the members.

Create the MAP of Project Village Site with Kids

Posted by: "Vijay Joshi" veekayjoshi@yahoo.co.in   deepakdhyani

Thu May 22, 2008 7:23 am (PDT)

Dear Deepak,

This idea came to my mind from a similar project run by the Dept of
Sci and tech with help of an NGO in some villages of Almora a few yrs
ago. In other countries they start the project for children of class
3 with-'know ur class room. Each child prepares a plan (map) of the
classroom. It shows the location of the blackboard, teacher's chair,
seating arrangement etc. Children are given simple ideas of
proportion. For ex the largest object in the class is a black board,
compared to tht the teacher's pen will not be visible in the map bec
of the scale.
The next stage is 'know ur school' for students of class VI. They
show location of various trees, water tap, naula, entrance to school
etc. In other words this makes them aware of their surroundings.
Further skills are developed wen kids start with 'know ur village'
maps-class IX onwards. To do this one needs a hand held GPS and a
laptop for full efficiency. Without them one can do it with
approximation (no harm in tht) but recording data becomes easier with
a lap top. But to begin with a field notebook can be given to kids.
Each one of them notes in his note book and at the end of the work
one with best hand writing records all the inofrmation in the field
note book.
The record runs as under:
date.
traverse from: Mohan's house to naula east of village-distance
(.....paces). Pacing shud be done preferably by one boy/gal only.
His/her pace can be measured on a known distance on a flat ground.
Average pace of a child is around 70 cm. Thus if he/she walks and
counts 100 paces the approximate horizontal distance can be found.
Sense of direction has to be developed with ref to Sun.
Students will record each and every detail-like dump of garbage in
front of pooran chandras house, corner of Kahti's field being used as
shit ground, drain choked in front of lala's res etc.
These details u will find after a few months are of amazing help. Bec
if the village has a large num of trees, lots of shrubs and grass-it
means theres no dearth of water there. If the village is surrounded
by pine trees then water is there but at a depth. If there are lots
of oak trees and buransh then water is definitely there and the like..
U r doing a wonderful job, wat I wanted to tell u was tht it is
better to know ur adversary before u tackle him. Thus know ur
class/school/home/village/block programme will go a long way. This is
a continuous process and data keeps pouring-later information can be
formulated out of it.
School kids are ideal work force for tht. Use them only wen they are
free and never use the for more than an hour or so. Make it a playful
thing for them. reward them for gud work and encourage the shirkers.
Due to my personal committments am unable to come else I wud have
gone to one of the villages, camped there for a month and taught them.
Reg rain water harvesting I suggest pl read a series of articles I
have published in boloji.com. Link is given in my orkut home page. I
have covered RWH in hills in tha and also past practices. RWH is not
simply drilling a hole and allowing rain water to go in. It is much
more. One shud use simpler and cheaper methods. One can make a
surface tank where the water with help of drains can be diverted fr
village houses. The tank can then be covered with large polythene.
Tank can be of masonry too. Some enterprising people have purchased
old hosues in Kasardevi area in Almora. They havent changed the
architecture of the house. Instead just connected the roof water
drains to a masonry tank. Those tanks serve for their needs of
growing veg and flowers round the yr plus they use it in the flush
too. One can even attach a filtration plant and use it for drinking.
Best wishes.

Let  the Institute of iBusiness train politicans of Uttarakhand firs

Posted by: "ram prasad" tnordramprasad@yahoo.co.in   tnordramprasad

Wed May 21, 2008 11:04 pm (PDT)

To

Dhumakot Sangliya Groups on Internet.

We have recently introduced a concept of iRajyasabha
and eRajyasabha in the Institute of iBusines.
Dhumakot Sangliya is the experiment and Uttarakhand is
the laboratory. The Dhumakot Sangliya International
Group on Intenet has been able to call all the current
Loksabha and Rajyasabha members on the internet. The
eLoksabha and eRajyasabha provides information on what
questions the MPs asking, who they are and to which
party they belong to. The Institute of iBusiness is
not concerned about the political affiliations, age,
or experience of these MPs. They are students and
they have to prepare themselves to serve poorest of
poor people. It is not necessary to know what
communities these poorest of poor people belong. It
is not necessary to know the religions of these
poorest of poor people. We are focusing on the
poorest of poor people of Dhumakot Sangliya area.
Nainidanda is block to which Dhumakot Sangliya belong.
There is Nainidanda Vikas Samiti. It is not like
Gopio on the international front but it is certainly
like the organisations people like Ramnarayanji is
leading in America. He has been associated with a
recent Chicago conference. There was an earlier
Chicago conference also.

The information on these conferences are not available
in the information provided by eLokcsabha and
eRajyasabha on the internet. This is why the
Institute of iBusiness is trying to give them a
course. This course is some thing like the course
provided by the Institute of Grassroots on the
internet. The people associated with the Chicago
conferences have provided the information. But what
the Institute of iBusiness is providing to them is a
different course - not on eFront but on the iFront.

We are using Rayalaji as one of the iProfessors in the
Institute of iBusiness. Professor Tariyal is an old
iProfessor. Let us discuss how is he preparing his
iLecture for his new students or participants in
relation to this course for the MPs of Uttarakhand
from the email text reproduced at the end of this
mail.

Ram Prasad

Rayalaji is preparing for his iBusiness lecture to
Uttarakhand MPs
Text of Rayalaji's reaction
Dear Ramprasadji!,I cannot contribute much without
revealing the history behind our movement of
Bharatmaata so far. As a child is on the way, I don't
have much time to think and put my thoughts in my
e-mails to Dr. Tariyalji! I am hoping to finish them
off very soon and I hope they would be of some help.

The text of the request

The office of the organizers of the Chicago
Conference wanted me to define iBusiness. Some
participants said
that personal discussion is needed. I have not
circulated the matter among Dhumakot Sangliya groups
yet. Professor Dittmann has sent his interpretation
of iBusines that was circulated. But people generally
do not go to the depth needed. I am sending herewith
what I wrote to the office of Chicago conference.

iBusiness is to be understood as a complex component
of the business of development. Today the totality of
Industrial progress or human progress can be
understood as eBusiness. e is for electronics.
Arrival of electronics helped management of industrial
development. We may define as totality of human
progress till date as eBusiness.

Having defined the totality of human progress as
eBusiness as a single term, we may define iBusiness as
dialectical opposite of eBusiness. eBusiness focuses
on the machine or
mechanism, iBusiness is something
that focuses on man.

Now science comes in. It is totality of knowledge
available to mankind today. So far it has focused on
machine and mechanics, neglecting man. iBusiness has
to focus on man. In other words, it has to ensure
that eBusiness has to take care of man.

The mechanics of iBusiness is the technological
nursery and a scientific research institution that is
set to be in backward areas where poorest of poor
live. The latest knowledge should be known to this
institution but the problems that are to be handled
are local problems.

psiddoon@gmail. com
psiddoon@rediffmail .com
http://www.peopless cienceinstitute. com

I havse some mails on the above subject. Since you
are located in Uttarakhand, I thought the news should
be discussed in Dhumakot Sangliya international forum.
For this purpose the case is to be linked with the
philosophy of Dhumakot Sangliya experiment which is
basically establishment of pioneering technological
nursery. According to the philosophy business of
development is
Business = eBusiness + iBusiness
eBusiness we all know. The struggle of Dr Agrawal
fall in this category as eBusiness is the totality of
achievements and failures of the process of
industrialism.

The solutions of the problem Dr Agrawal wants to solve
lies in iBusiness and not within eBusiness. Of
course eBusiness does all the things good or bad.

In the above theory iBusiness is defined as
dialectical opposite. The parameters and dimensions
of iBusiness are being identified by the Dhumakot
Sangliya experiment.

You know that in 1939 the book How Green was my valley
was published. The novel was written by a soldier. A
movie was made within two years. Both the book and
the film became best sellers.

Kindly note the following theme of the novel and film
based on it.

"The story is a powerful one, a series of intense
personal dramas which chart the slow disintegration of
a harmonious family unit, the result of changing
social and economic circumstances. The break-up of
the family runs alongside the spoiling of the
countryside around them - the lush green fields
gradually disappearing beneath a mountain of black,
poisonous slag. Having the story told from the
perspective of a young boy strengthens its impact and
poignancy considerably. What the audience
experiences, through the eyes of young Huw Morgan, is
something akin to the Fall of Man. The story begins
in paradise, a lush Eden where there is immense social
cohesion and everyone is content with his place in the
scheme of things. And it ends in a world marred by
greed, ambition and individualism, where the bond
between parents and their offspring is irreparably
weakened."

We are now talking about iBusiness which is
dialectically opposite of the eBusiness that destroyed
the valley. We cannot stop eBusiness from doing what
is required for the running momentum. But we can
develop iBusiness to take care of damages that
eBusiness is doing.

iBusiness is different from the sponsored  iGovernment

Posted by: "ram prasad" tnordramprasad@yahoo.co.in   tnordramprasad

Wed May 21, 2008 11:15 pm (PDT)

To

Dhumakot Sangliya Groups on Internet

The bureaucrats are clever. They have been able to
survive as the rulers of Indin people right from the
colonia era. They will make real development
impossible.

At the end of this note a description of iGovernment
web platform is given. This is how bureaucracy
supported by peers created by them confuses the
matters. To us the true Government is given by the
formula

Government = eGovernment + iGovernment

where eGovernment is governmental component of
eBusiness and iGovernment is its dialectical opposite.

In Dhumakot Sanglia context the Government of
Uttarakhand is the eGovernment and Phatte ki Sarkar
which appears as column in Pyara Uttarakhand is
iGovernment.

The description of the sponsored iGovernment is just
another expression for eGovenment.

Kindly comment.

Ram Prasad

Description of Bureaucracy sponsored iGovernment

i-Government is a dynamic, interactive web platform
and info-portal on e-Governance in India. It aims at
filling the existing gap of peer-to-peer learning and
capacity building amongst policy makers, judiciary,
bureaucrats, academicians, and the vendor community
across India, as well as those in other public
services.

While the prime objective is to create a platform for
sharing knowledge on how technology can be used and is
being used elsewhere or in parts across the country to
improve governance, the portal also aims at equipping
e-Gov champions with information for better strategies
and policies for good governance.

The 'I' in iGovernment stands for IT-enabled,
information-based, intelligent government and
Internet-enabled citizen service delivery. It also
stands for the critical component of integrated
approach towards all government to government
transactions, without which it would be difficult to
meet the UN Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) within
the year 2015 time frame. Not to forget that India has
its own National e-Governance Plan (NeGP) to meet.

All these through 24X7 news updates, on-the-ball
follow up stories and reports, objective analysis,
thought provoking columns, detailed case studies and
insightful nation wide surveys.

Dhumakot Sangliya  International Group as iRajyasabha

Posted by: "ram prasad" tnordramprasad@yahoo.co.in   tnordramprasad

Wed May 21, 2008 11:15 pm (PDT)

To
Dhumakot Sangliya Groups on Internet

The purpose of this mail is to inform you what I wrote
to Harish Rawat member of the real Rajya Sabha with
copies to the local workers of the Dhumakot Sangliya
experiment. Of course Harishji knows that there are
two governments in Uttarakhand. One is the real
Uttarakhand headed by General Khanduri and the other
government is the Phatte ki Sarkar which is a column
in the Weekly Pyara Uttarakhand edited by Dev Singh
Rawat.

Members of Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha are members of
the Dhumakot Sangliya International Group. Some of
them were not in possession of internet facilities.
But their secretaries have e-mail addresses. Thus
all the members of Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha from
Uttarakhand are available. The proceedings of the
Dhumakot Sangliya group on internet are thus reaching
key politicians of the state. There are other
politicians and others in the Dhumakot Sangliya
International Group on internet.

The text of the e-mail sent to Harishji is given at
the end of this mail. He is on tour. But there are
other politicians from the Dhumakot locality. One of
them is Dhirendra Pratap who had a ministerial
position in Tiwari government. The other is Haripal
Rawat who is general secretary of Delhi Pradesh
Congress Committee. He is like an NRI having a
position in some country like Boby Jindal in USA.
I discussed the matter with them. They are simple
political workers with out any specialised experience
of politicians like Khanduriji and TPS Rawatji.

We value Uttarakhand groups on internet as an assembly
of Phatte ki Sarkar.

Kindly send your comments on this mail.

Ram Prasad

Mail sent to Harish Rawatji with copies to Dhirendra
Pratapji, Haripalji and to the Nainidanda Vikas Sangh.

I am writing this mail to you to explain the formula
in which we define the business of development as
Business = eBusiness + iBusiness.
It simply means the term intelligent industrialisation
of Uttarakhand. This was another term for the lens
nursery project which we now define as Dhumakot
Sangliya Experiment taking Uttarakhand as a
laboratory. You have been supporting this project for
a long time. Your seniors in this regard were Dr
Bhakta Darshan, Chandra Bhanu Gupta, HN Bahuguna,
Chandra Mohan Singh Negi, Maharaja Tehri and Narendra
Singh Bisht who are no longer with us and KC Pant and
Tiwariji. Dr Murli Manohar Joshi and Bachi Singh ji
have of course done work in finding physical support
for
the project following the initiative of Khanduriji and
Dhyaniji who offered to provide Rs two lakh each as a
token sum. Tiwarijis support is known world over as
he inaugurated the Seminar cum Workshop on
Technological Nursery at NPL for which Professor
Rosenbruch had come to NPL from Germany.

After the formation of Uttarakhand the political
leadership has come down to a very low level. We have
more seats in Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha but the
effectiveness is missing.

The purpose of addressing this mail to you with copies
to Haripalji, Dhirendraji and Nainidanda Vikas Sangh
is to educate the Dhumakot Sangliya International
Group about the problems of development of
Uttarakhand.

You might have seen today's mail to Katyalji and other
members of the International Group in which I used the
formula

Rajyasabha = eRajyasabha + iRajyasabha
Where eRajyasabha is the one of which you,
Chaturvediji, Satishji and Dr Murli Manohar Joshi are
the members and iRajyasabha is the Dhumakot Sangliya
International Group only in relation to the project.

The iRajyasabha mail does not concern the project
only. It is a global problem. But it focuses on the
point that Dhumakot Sangliya politics has the support
of the experience of two persons who may be new to
ePolitics but who have been generals in the army.
They have the virtue of iPolitics of science and
technology.

Let us free Uttarakhand of half politics. Let
Uttarakhand show the world what complete politics is.

the Document Dhumakot in Hindi and the second is the
font with which this works.

This has been extracted from the document Gumod
Parikrama which is in Hindi.

During recent years groups like PG Group, GK Group,
Foundation Shurwaat, Uttarakhand Club, YUGroup, UANA
and Creative Uttarakhand have started field
activities. These field activities are related to
awareness campaigns, scholarships, old age pension,
help to individuals suffering from critical deseases.

Dhumakot Sangliya groups are also there. Pyara
Uttarakhand weekly has a column on Phatte ki Sarkar or
Gumod Parikrama. Uttarakhand is a laboratory.
Dhumakot Sangliya is an experiment in this laboratory.
The Centre for Policy research is also doing some
work. Recently it has released a book by Dr Murli
Manohar Joshi.

The attached file describes what the project is and
how did the former PM Chandra Shekhar took interest in
the project. It also describes why noted journalist
Mrinal Pande criticised Professor Indiresan.

Kindly take follow up action.

Georege  Bush , Bill Gates  and Dhumakot Sangliya as a Call Centre

Wed May 21, 2008 11:17 pm (PDT)

To

Dhumakot Sangliya Groups on Internet

The purpose of commenting on the forwarded message
attached is to focus on iBusiness of Gumod Parikrama.
I write Gumod Parikrama daily in Hindi. Selected
issues of this daily are reproduced in the weekly
Pyara Uttarakhand as a column. The title of this
column is "Phate ki Sarkar" that is the Government
that is on a road side bench. It is known as Khel
Uttarakhand Sarkar". What the real government does in
Uttarakhand it is taken as iBusiness and this work of
the real government is reflected as iBusiness in Gumod
Parikrama.

When their were elections in Uttarakhand, George Bush
and Bill Gates were concerned about taking advantage
of the development. Gumod Parikrama said that the two
came to the Phatta and hid themselves to hear what the
Phatte ki Sarkar was talking about the coming
elections in Uttarakhand. This was a symbolic
expression that has been reflected in the forwarded
messages attached. Congress came to power. There
were deals with eCorporations. Congress has now been
defeated BJP has come to power. While George Bush is
concerned about the prosperity of the middle class in
India and the forwarded messages attached shows the
similar concern of the Phatte ki Sarkar of USA, the
title of the current issue of the column Phatte ki
Sarkar in Gumod Parikra says: "Intenet has become the
ocean of knowledge"

I therefore request the Dhumakot Sangliya
International Group to discuss the message. Let the
other groups also keep informed.

Institute of iBusiness vs Indian Institute of Advanced Study

Posted by: "ram prasad" tnordramprasad@yahoo.co.in   tnordramprasad

Wed May 21, 2008 11:18 pm (PDT)

To

Dhumakot Sangliya Groups on Internet

In the Dhumakot Sangliya International Group Rayalaji
is not happy over the news about news regarding the
release of a book written by Dr Murli Manohar Joshi
by Professor MGK Menon.

We have a concept of the Institute of iBusiness.
Rayalaji is an active worker in this institute. He
does his work in America. The Institute of iBusiness
works in India in the Himalayas in which there is the
Institute of Advanced Study.

The Institute which is housed in a majestic building
in Shimla came there on the 20th October 1965. It
grew to become 'an internationally recognized centre
of high creativity and excellence'. It had its years
of dormancy but after that it grew and is still
growing to achieve new vistas and conquering new
horizons.

The Institute is financed primarily by Ministry of
Human Resource Development, Government of India. It
has some income from the sale of its publications; and
the entry fee charged from the tourists. The annual
expenditure of the Institute; which includes salaries,
contingent expenditure, and maintenance of buildings
and the library, is over five crore of rupees. The
expenditure on academic programmes like fellowships,
seminars, lectures and publications is provided in the
Plan estimates of the Institute and varies from year
to year.

Professor Menon has been one of the Minister of
Science and Technology in the Government of India.
Professor Joshi has in addition to being the Minister
of Science and Technology has also been the Minister
of Human Resource Development under which the Indian
Institute of Advanced Study functioned.

Both of these people supported the Dhumakot Sangliya
experiment. Professor Menon worked very closely with
Professor Burhop who was the President of the World
Federation of Scientific Workers. He did not hesitate
to become Chairman of the International organising
committee of the first ever conference of the World
Federation of Scientific Workers in a developing
country that is India.

Professor Burhop was critical of Professor Menon for
not working enough for eradicating poverty in India.
During his first Indian visit Professor Burhop was
invited for breakfast by Professor Menon, then the
Director of Indian Institute of Science, Bombay. The
residence of Professor Menon was facing a locality in
which poor Indians were live. He was not able to
understand why a person like Menon was unconcerned
about Indian poverty.

Whatever be the case these two people did what they
could do for the country. They are insignificant in
the broader concept. Both of them do not understand
iBusiness. But does the Indian Institute of Advance
Study understand iBusiness? The institute of
iBusiness exists but it is not visible. It has to be
understood in terms of what is visible.

How can poverty be eradicated if the country does not
spend on the concept of technological nurseries? The
Government spends at least rupees five crores on the
above visible institute. Let us make use of what is
spent on eBusiness by creating a room for iBusiness.

Padma Awardees Felicitated in NDL

Posted by: "Chandan Dangi" cdangi2001@yahoo.com   cdangi2001

Wed May 21, 2008 11:18 pm (PDT)

Dear friends,

We have had a grand gathering at the Teen Murti House. The
Felicitation
of the Padma Awardees on May, the 9th was yet another attempt
made by
PAHAR, which went off well. Even though the function began later
then
originally scheduled time since the rehearsal at the Rashtrapati
Bhawan
was delayed. Finally we received Dr. MC Pant and his family
first,
followed by Dr. RK Jain, Dr. RK Pachauri
http://www.climatescience.gov/Library/bios/pachauri.htm
<http://www.climatescience.gov/Library/bios/pachauri.htm> and
finally Shri
Tom Alter http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tom_Alter
<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tom_Alter> with his respected
mother.

Before arrival of the dignitaries, we have had some cultural
items,
starring Sh. Heera S Rana's MANILA DEVI's VANDANA and Myor Pahad.

A standing ovation was what we should call as respect and love
for the
special guests of the evening.

Dr. TS Papola http://isidev.nic.in/facPapola.html
<http://isidev.nic.in/facPapola.html> an old friend of Dr.
Pachauri and
senior member of PAHAR presented a special hand made JAUHARI caps
to 4 guests, which is a new tradition being introduced by the
Team PAHAR for its Silver
Jubilee celebrations during 2008.

Dr. Sekhar Pathak formally introduced the recipients of 2008
Padma
awardees. Dr. RK Jain in his address highlighted the importance
of being
born in the hills of Uttarakhand. Dr. MC Pant, having born in
Ranikhet
mentioned about his experience on the poor health conditions in
the
hills and his awareness programs and papers. Shri Tom Alter stole
the
show by his special appearance also being his profession. But,
the
recitation of an Urdu GAZAL described the true meanings of
mountains, nature the mother earth. The poem was mesmerising.

Dr. RK Pachauri revelation of being a hill man was a big
surprise for many.
He had studies in the lap of nature around him and the work he
has chosen has a strong bearing by virtue of a son of the
Nainital. He is presently leading over 3,000
environmental scientists around the globe on the burning issue of
the CLIMATE CHANGE and had shared the Noble Prize together with
Al Gore for 2007

ml
>

The program continued till 11PM and many participants were glued
to
their seats for the splendid narration of Uttarakhand GATHA by
Dr.
Sekhar Pathak.

The function could not be conducted in very professional manner,
specially the stage management but the contents, the wisdom words
from
the eminent personalities and finally the quality audience of
+300 made it
successful. There is always a scope of further learning and
improvements.

How Dhumakot Sangliya Groups came into being

Dhumakot Sangliya Groups on internet

Dhumakot Sangliya groups on internet are discussing
matters of global concern. Tiwariji was to visit
Dhumakot twenty years ago. Shailendra Krishna was the
DM then. He is currently secretary to UP Chief
Minister Mayawati. Tiwariji was the Chief Minister
Uttar Pradesh then. Tiwariji could not visit Dhumakot
then. But he could visit Dhumakot years later as
Chief Minister of Uttarakhand. By then he had become
Nauchami Narayan. Poet Narendra Singh Negi had made
him god after taking voluntary retirement as the
Information officer of the district where Dhumakot is
located. Tiwariji was to visit Adalikhal which is a
rival or complementary school in the same area to
inaugurate the Seminar "How Green would be Deval Garh
Valley". The title was given to the local touch a
global sounding. How Green was my valley was a best
seller that had become the best movie of its time.

The seminar was very successful internationally and
Parvatitya Times published material on Tiwariji'actual
visit. But there was another seminar organised by
the products of the Dhumakot school who had become
VIPs like NRIs. It was necessary to add something to
their effort. Came Dhumakot Sangliya Groups on
internet.

Let us recall recent event at the ground level. The
report is added at the end of this mail.

Ram Prasad
Friends
A Get-together of Ex- students and Teachers of
Dhumakot School (Pauri Garhwal) was organised at
Dhumakot on 6 to 7 May 2006. On 6th May the meet was
inaugurated by the present oldest teacher and an ex-
student Shri Pancham Singh Rawat. The session was
presided over by Shri Govind Singh Rawat retd, DIOS
and an ex- student of the school. At the assembly,
immediately after the national anthem, the students of
the school sang Swagat Geet in honor of their
seniors. This was followed by the key address by the
present Principal Shri Anand Singh Bisht who is also
and an ex-student of the school. The Principal touched
various points and aspects of the history &
achievements of the school and remembered those who
made hard efforts to promote education in the area by
establishing and developing this school. His address
has been given due coverage in the local print media.
During the introduction session many of the
participants while remembering their early days of the
school
were seen emotional. Shri P.N. Madwal from Delhi
informed that a tremendous enthusiasm among the
ex-students and teachers for this meet was seen though
many of them could not attend the meet due to their
some other important commitments. He thanked the
Principal of the school and his team for making the
best arrangements for boarding and lodging of the
participants. Shri D.B. Dhyani appreciated the
greenery developed around the school.
At the end of the last session of the day a two
minutes silence to pay homage to all the late
ex-students and teachers was observed.
A sightseeing trip to Khaliondanda and Diva temple
was made in a group by the participants. Apart from
seeing some of the watersheds development in nearby
areas, some of the participants also visited
Digolikhal, Nainidanda, Gujudugari, Jadaukhand and
Dungri.
Next day i.e. on 7th May one hour yoga session
particularly for the present teachers was organized
with a view to passing on the same to their students
which was guided by Shri Bhagat Singh Bisht from
Mumbai. After beakfast issues relating to the
Education-Health, Tourism and development were
discussed in three sessions of the day. In his
presentation Dr. Juyal explained, among other things,
the basic requirements for the construction of
houses in the seismographic zones and the need of
roof-top rainwater harvesting. In my submission I was
of the opinion that we as individuals can motivate
domestic tourists to this area in our own way and this
get-together itself was an example thereof. I felt
that there is a need to make the villagers and
particularly the women aware of the one / two child
family. Further I was of the view that we should
encourage poor to imagine that where they would like
to see their respective families after 10/ 15 or 25
years and ac
cordingly obtain an undeclared commitment from them
to fulfill the same. Block Pramukh Smt. Madhu Bisht
and Up Pramukh Shri Arjun Singh Patwal also
participated in the discussion and explained the
various developmental activities of the Nainidanda
Block. At the end of the session S/Shri N P Juyal &
Govind Singh Bisht and Shri Gabarr Singh Bisht were
felicitated with shawl and coconut as oldest students
and teacher respectively. A vote of thanks was
proposed by S/Shri B.S. Bisht & A.S.Bisht. This two
days meet was enjoyed as a camp life by the
participants which was also a small beginning to
think for the betterment of the society and likely to
be repeated in the coming years. We wish that others
may replicate it in their respective schools.

inaugurated by the present oldest teacher and an ex-
student Shri Pancham Singh Rawat.

Dear Deepak jee,

We can use few magazines or books for moral stories...and iam
very much positive that stories from these books and magazines
will improve there knowledge,moral,cultural values...

childrens can learn many things from these but keep in mind as
childrens in village schools generally poor in reading and
understanding (good hindi) and thus reluctant...so it is a advise
to have some teacher for them to do this for them....

also we should emphases on hindi books for stories as it is too
much to expect from them to understand english and this make them
reluctant......

above is my experience....

- chandamama --- 175/- approx yearly subscription..

- amar chitr katha....

- Jatak katha,panchatantra,betal pacheesee etc....there are many
publishers

any body can sponser magazines....

Dosto,

As you are aware Uttarakhand is the land of God and Goddess.
There are many places here which have relevance with Mahabharat
and Ramayana. It said that during Mahabharat, Padav's spent
their Exile period in Uttarkahand and made temples in various
places. Finally, Padav's went to Heaven from the same land
and the place is is called "Swargarohini" . In Ramayana,
it is said that Hunuman Ji lifted the "Dronchal Parvat"
from the himalaya of Uttarakhand as it was not able to find
Sanjiwani Booti on it to save the Lakshmana in Sri Lanka.

There are many such places in Uttarakhand which have relevance
with great epics of Hindu Dharma. You must have seen the picture
of Malakali keeping her leg on the chest of Lord Shiva. This
place is in Pithoragarh of Uttarakhand.

Here we have collected photographs of various Uttarakhandi
relegious places. You will like them and would enrich your

Hey Kamayani

After seeing this mail, I thought you could be the right person
to ask for help.

My sister in law's, elder sister is unmarried, 33-34 yrs old girl
from Raipur. She is from very decent family, a very nice girl. I
guess she is slightly manglik and they are looking for a boy from
Uttranchal and brahmin (Garhwali/ Kumauni).

It would be great if you know some one around 35-38 years old
boy, having a nice job or business but should be educated one.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Thanks & Regards
Babita

Hello Mr. Anil,

After reading your story and present struggles and ambitions thereto, I would like to suggest to you an aggressive but doable plan/propositon.
Apply in some reputedState Textile Designing institutes of USA(google-search).
The University will give all the details as to what your total expenses will be(lodging, food and tution).
Once you have a degree from a US State University, you would be able to lap up very good opportunities either in US or India.
All the best,
Anita Dubey

Hello everyone!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for stopping by & giving some time to read this.

I came across this community & am amazed by the services it provides. I am reading the communication happening through this daily & really appreciate how people can share there feelings & thoughts.

I have ONE DREAM in my life & thought of sharing it with you all..... IT MEANS A LOT TO ME OR MAY BE TO YOU ALSO WHO IS READING THIS!!!!!!!!!!!

I, Anil Gwadi, belong to Neelkanth Pauri Garhwal & we all can feel the depth in connection of our origin. I am a Pahadi who comes from a middle class family as we all do. I came to Delhi to earn my living long time back & through that journey I have learnt a lot about life & myself. At this stage of life, I know that honesty & hard work do pays.

When I started my journey, left my home for the first time to earn my living I was just having 100 bucks in my pocket ---- I wasn't knowing what I am going to do in my life,,,,,,, with honesty & hard work I have earned a small space for myself as a TEXTILE DESIGNER in a MNC Textile Design Studio at Delhi.
I am earning a decent amount of money but not that much that I can fulfill my dream & that DREAM is to do something for people who have hard time everyday, every moment over there at my native place.

I know most of us come from such background only & I do think many times the fate of us all is very uncertain – it's very rare, only the lucky ones are able to reach at some level…….at times, to reach at certain level people spend their whole life & then they don't have the time to enjoy that ------ it happens with everyone of us in the form of parents, relatives or friends!!!!!!! IT CAN BE ANYONE……..

I really think & feel this – PAHAD KA BETA AUR PAHAD KA PAANI, AKSAR PAHAD KE KAAM NAHIN AA PAYA,,,,,,,

We all know that the life in Pahads is really tough & hard. We don't have the very basic needs of life like water, roads as easily available as we have in big cities. Whenever I use them here I do remember my native place as what difficulties my people are facing over there. They have to go 1.5 kms away from my place to fetch water, hospitals, convenience problems,,,,,,,,,, I want to do something to improve this condition at my place.
Whenever, I think about this I am not able to find a proper way to move. This makes me impatient & bangs my head everyday what to do & how to do.
I have talent ---- I need some help & some guidance.

I know in this real world money is more important than guidance, I don't have any of the two. I have this DREAM only with me to do something.

Through this, I want to ask for a favour from you all, if anyone can help me for this, I am having a total experience of 9 yrs in TEXTILE GRAPHIC DESIGNING. My specialization is in
Textile Prints & Textile Graphics. I am looking for a good job change - I am much interested in overseas job.
I feel going overseas will provide me the opportunity to fulfill my dreams in much better way.
If anyone can guide me how to go for overseas job & what all formalities are there.

Even, a small favour is welcomed with honour & gratefulness.

Looking forward to the guidance of the path to move ahead from all of you. I need your blessings to fulfill my dream.

Best regards,

Dear Ashok,

There is one NGO "Prabhat" they are already working in Pauri region for water Harvesting with Govt support. Even govt is giving money to dig holes and harvest water.

But one thing I would like to tell you about our Hills, Normal holes will not keep the water, our land will absorb the same. Kindly use modern techniques to keep the water there and use them when ever needed. But keep few thing in mind before harvest the water:

1) Check that harvested water will be used in which field, always prefer "Ukhad" as "Syara" already have water, so Holes level shd be above the water level already coming.

2) Should be deep enough to give water to few "Ukhad" Fields when needed.

3) Farmers shd be using those fields and they should be ready to make arrangement to bring that water to their fields.

actually apni mother tonge ko bolene ke liye mai bhi pryas kar raha hun, kyonki meri mata ji aur pitaji done apni bhasha mai bolte hai par unohone kabhi jor nahi diya ki hum log bhi bole. Par es bhasha ke na aane ka ehass mere ander jara der se jaag tha par ab mai pure pryas se esko sikhne mai laga hun kaffi positive comments mil rehe hai...

dusra apne likha hai ki aap fal aur ayurvedic ke chhetre mai kuch pryas kar rahe hai... aap se anurodh hai ki kaligarh gram sabha mai kuch experiments kare jo un logo ki income ko badane mai madad kare.... aur aapke pryaso mai jo sahayat humse ho sakegi hum karne ko tyar hai....

Dear D.Dhyani ji,

Thanks for your concern & bringing some points in our notice....

These all problems are related to a young man means a person who passed his schooling & having some responsibility in his village.

A person who is not getting a proper education in his home town then he will never remember his tradition & culture,

If the person is not done his basic schooling on his home town, he never does understand his language.

After passing his schooling the person is not having the worked then defiantly he will use his spare time in Alcohol & other bad activity.

If the person is not aware about his own future then how can he will think about other series problems of his areas (Water Harvesting)?

My AIM behind to tell all this thing is that these all things related to our childrenâۉ„¢s (Students) who is the FOUNDATION of our state, so we have a mission to give the right dose on right time to make BIG TREE, so please join us, you will be seen that after a time period your all ideas will be converting in a realistic approach.

So join us we are with you to give the full frame of your ideas......

For Team Foundation Shurwaat,

Deepak Kala

Let  the Institute of iBusiness train politicans of Uttarakhand firs

Posted by: "ram prasad" tnordramprasad@yahoo.co.in   tnordramprasad

Mon May 19, 2008 5:54 pm (PDT)

To

Dhumakot Sangliya Groups on Internet.

We have recently introduced a concept of iRajyasabha
and eRajyasabha in the Institute of iBusines.
Dhumakot Sangliya is the experiment and Uttarakhand is
the laboratory. The Dhumakot Sangliya International
Group on Intenet has been able to call all the current
Loksabha and Rajyasabha members on the internet. The
eLoksabha and eRajyasabha provides information on what
questions the MPs asking, who they are and to which
party they belong to. The Institute of iBusiness is
not concerned about the political affiliations, age,
or experience of these MPs. They are students and
they have to prepare themselves to serve poorest of
poor people. It is not necessary to know what
communities these poorest of poor people belong. It
is not necessary to know the religions of these
poorest of poor people. We are focusing on the
poorest of poor people of Dhumakot Sangliya area.
Nainidanda is block to which Dhumakot Sangliya belong.
There is Nainidanda Vikas Samiti. It is not like
Gopio on the international front but it is certainly
like the organisations people like Ramnarayanji is
leading in America. He has been associated with a
recent Chicago conference. There was an earlier
Chicago conference also.

The information on these conferences are not available
in the information provided by eLokcsabha and
eRajyasabha on the internet. This is why the
Institute of iBusiness is trying to give them a
course. This course is some thing like the course
provided by the Institute of Grassroots on the
internet. The people associated with the Chicago
conferences have provided the information. But what
the Institute of iBusiness is providing to them is a
different course - not on eFront but on the iFront.

We are using Rayalaji as one of the iProfessors in the
Institute of iBusiness. Professor Tariyal is an old
iProfessor. Let us discuss how is he preparing his
iLecture for his new students or participants in
relation to this course for the MPs of Uttarakhand
from the email text reproduced at the end of this
mail.

Ram Prasad

Rayalaji is preparing for his iBusiness lecture to
Uttarakhand MPs
Text of Rayalaji's reaction
Dear Ramprasadji!,I cannot contribute much without
revealing the history behind our movement of
Bharatmaata so far. As a child is on the way, I don't
have much time to think and put my thoughts in my
e-mails to Dr. Tariyalji! I am hoping to finish them
off very soon and I hope they would be of some help.

The text of the request

The office of the organizers of the Chicago
Conference wanted me to define iBusiness. Some
participants said
that personal discussion is needed. I have not
circulated the matter among Dhumakot Sangliya groups
yet. Professor Dittmann has sent his interpretation
of iBusines that was circulated. But people generally
do not go to the depth needed. I am sending herewith
what I wrote to the office of Chicago conference.

iBusiness is to be understood as a complex component
of the business of development. Today the totality of
Industrial progress or human progress can be
understood as eBusiness. e is for electronics.
Arrival of electronics helped management of industrial
development. We may define as totality of human
progress till date as eBusiness.

Having defined the totality of human progress as
eBusiness as a single term, we may define iBusiness as
dialectical opposite of eBusiness. eBusiness focuses
on the machine or
mechanism, iBusiness is something
that focuses on man.

Now science comes in. It is totality of knowledge
available to mankind today. So far it has focused on
machine and mechanics, neglecting man. iBusiness has
to focus on man. In other words, it has to ensure
that eBusiness has to take care of man.

The mechanics of iBusiness is the technological
nursery and a scientific research institution that is
set to be in backward areas where poorest of poor
live. The latest knowledge should be known to this
institution but the problems that are to be handled
are local problems.

Best regards,
Anil Gwadi

Let  the Institute of iBusiness train politicans of Uttarakhand firs

Posted by: "ram prasad" tnordramprasad@yahoo.co.in   tnordramprasad

Mon May 19, 2008 8:47 pm (PDT)

To

We have recently introduced a concept of iRajyasabha
and eRajyasabha in the Institute of iBusines.
Dhumakot Sangliya is the experiment and Uttarakhand is
the laboratory. The Dhumakot Sangliya International
Group on Intenet has been able to call all the current
Loksabha and Rajyasabha members on the internet. The
eLoksabha and eRajyasabha provides information on what
questions the MPs asking, who they are and to which
party they belong to. The Institute of iBusiness is
not concerned about the political affiliations, age,
or experience of these MPs. They are students and
they have to prepare themselves to serve poorest of
poor people. It is not necessary to know what
communities these poorest of poor people belong. It
is not necessary to know the religions of these
poorest of poor people. We are focusing on the
poorest of poor people of Dhumakot Sangliya area.
Nainidanda is block to which Dhumakot Sangliya belong.
There is Nainidanda Vikas Samiti. It is not like
Gopio on the international front but it is certainly
like the organisations people like Ramnarayanji is
leading in America. He has been associated with a
recent Chicago conference. There was an earlier
Chicago conference also.

The information on these conferences are not available
in the information provided by eLokcsabha and
eRajyasabha on the internet. This is why the
Institute of iBusiness is trying to give them a
course. This course is some thing like the course
provided by the Institute of Grassroots on the
internet. The people associated with the Chicago
conferences have provided the information. But what
the Institute of iBusiness is providing to them is a
different course - not on eFront but on the iFront.

We are using Rayalaji as one of the iProfessors in the
Institute of iBusiness. Professor Tariyal is an old
iProfessor. Let us discuss how is he preparing his
iLecture for his new students or participants in
relation to this course for the MPs of Uttarakhand
from the email text reproduced at the end of this
mail.

Ram Prasad

Rayalaji is preparing for his iBusiness lecture to
Uttarakhand MPs
Text of Rayalaji's reaction
Dear Ramprasadji!,I cannot contribute much without
revealing the history behind our movement of
Bharatmaata so far. As a child is on the way, I don't
have much time to think and put my thoughts in my
e-mails to Dr. Tariyalji! I am hoping to finish them
off very soon and I hope they would be of some help.

The text of the request

The office of the organizers of the Chicago
Conference wanted me to define iBusiness. Some
participants said
that personal discussion is needed. I have not
circulated the matter among Dhumakot Sangliya groups
yet. Professor Dittmann has sent his interpretation
of iBusines that was circulated. But people generally
do not go to the depth needed. I am sending herewith
what I wrote to the office of Chicago conference.

iBusiness is to be understood as a complex component
of the business of development. Today the totality of
Industrial progress or human progress can be
understood as eBusiness. e is for electronics.
Arrival of electronics helped management of industrial
development. We may define as totality of human
progress till date as eBusiness.

Having defined the totality of human progress as
eBusiness as a single term, we may define iBusiness as
dialectical opposite of eBusiness. eBusiness focuses
on the machine or
mechanism, iBusiness is something
that focuses on man.

Now science comes in. It is totality of knowledge
available to mankind today. So far it has focused on
machine and mechanics, neglecting man. iBusiness has
to focus on man. In other words, it has to ensure
that eBusiness has to take care of man.

The mechanics of iBusiness is the technological
nursery and a scientific research institution that is
set to be in backward areas where poorest of poor
live. The latest knowledge should be known to this
institution but the problems that are to be handled
are local problems.

90/10 principle

Posted by: "dev negi" dsnegimail@yahoo.co.in   dsnegimail

Tue May 20, 2008 2:50 am (PDT)

Apply the 90/10 principle. It can change your life. It will change your life (at least the way you react to situations).

What is this principle? 10% of life is made up of what happens to you. 90% of life is decided by how you react.

What does this mean? We really have no control over 10% of what happens to us.

We cannot stop the car from breaking down. The plane will be late arriving, which throws our whole schedule off. A driver may cut us off in traffic.
We have no control over this 10%. The other 90% is different. You determine the other 90%.

How? ……….By your reaction.

You cannot control a red light. but you can control your reaction. Don't let people fool you; YOU can control how you react.

Let's use an example.

You are eating breakfast with your family. Your daughter knocks over a cup of coffee onto your business shirt. You have no control over what just happened.

What happens next will be determined by how you react.
You curse.

You harshly scold your daughter for knocking the cup over. She breaks down in tears. After scolding her, you turn to your spouse and criticize her for placing the cup too close to the edge of the table. A short verbal battle follows. You storm upstairs and change your shirt. Back downstairs, you find your daughter has been too busy crying to finish breakfast and get ready for school. She misses the bus.

Your spouse must leave immediately for work. You rush to the car and drive your daughter to school. Because you are late, you drive 40 miles an hour in a 30 mph speed limit.

After a 15-minute delay and throwing $60 traffic fine away, you arrive at school. Your daughter runs into the building without saying goodbye. After arriving at the office 20 minutes late, you find you forgot your briefcase. Your day has started terrible. As it continues, it seems to get worse and worse. You look forward to coming home.
When you arrive home, you find small wedge in your relationship with your spouse and daughter.

Why? …. Because of how you reacted in the morning.
Why did you have a bad day?
A) Did the coffee cause it?
B) Did your daughter cause it?
C) Did the policeman cause it?
D) Did you cause it?
The answer is "D".

You had no control over what happened with the coffee. How you reacted in those 5 seconds is what caused your bad day.

Here is what could have and should have happened.

Coffee splashes over you. Your daughter is about to cry. You gently say, "Its ok honey, you just need to be more careful next time". Grabbing a towel you rush upstairs. After grabbing a new shirt and your briefcase, you come back down in time to look through the window and see your child getting on the bus. She turns and waves. You arrive 5 minutes early and cheerfully greet the staff. Your boss comments on how good the day you are having.

Notice the difference?

Two different scenarios. Both started the same. Both ended different.
Why?

Because of how you REACTED.

You really do not have any control over 10% of what happens. The other 90% was determined by your reaction.

Here are some ways to apply the 90/10 principle. If someone says something negative about you, don't be a sponge. Let the attack roll off like water on glass. You don't have to let the negative comment affect you!

React properly and it will not ruin your day. A wrong reaction could result in losing a friend, being fired, getting stressed out etc.

How do you react if someone cuts you off in traffic? Do you lose your temper? Pound on the steering wheel? A friend of mine had the steering wheel fall off) Do you curse? Does your blood pressure skyrocket? Do you try and bump them?

WHO CARES if you arrive ten seconds later at work? Why let the cars ruin your drive?
Remember the 90/10 principle, and do not worry about it.

You are told you lost your job.

Why lose sleep and get irritated? It will work out. Use your worrying energy and time into finding another job.

The plane is late; it is going to mangle your schedule for the day. Why take outpour frustration on the flight attendant? She has no control over what is going on.
Use your time to study, get to know the other passenger. Why get stressed out? It will just make things worse.

Now you know the 90-10 principle. Apply it and you will be amazed at the results. You will lose nothing if you try it. The 90-10 principle is incredible. Very few know and apply this principle.

The result?

Millions of people are suffering from undeserved stress, trials, problems and heartache. We all must understand and apply the 90/10 principle.
It CAN change your life!!!

Enjoy Life….

Survey" of Uttarakhand" conducted by our site
merapahad.com (Forum of creativeuttarkahand.com). We had asked

Uttarakhand State after 7 years of its existence. People of
Uttarkhand from different parts had given their views based on

Killing the honour or killing for the honour

Killing the honour or killing for the honour.
ry-of.html
>
In the male dominated world the theory of gender egalitarianism has
somewhere lost its moral value. Where on one side the feminine section
are toiling to establish their expertise to it's full potentials in
their workplace, the other side they are being oppressed to the extent
where they have to cross several hurdles to articulate their identity
even in their own family. Being a wife, mother, sister and a daughter
usually she has to face thwarts by her own family members so that she
fails to grab the opportunities which her male counterparts can't.
Amongst other crimes against women there is another abominable crime
termed as "honour killing" which has brought the entire feminine
section of the world in turbulence. These killings are the form of
vengeance carried out-usually by family members on women who are alleged
to have committed acts deemed as inimical to the family name. Such
abysmal incidents rife not only in India but across the world. The
problem is that mostly men are the prosecutors and are generally being
supported by the other female family members. The victims include those
suspected of adultery, the ones who marry without the family's consent,
or those who dares to demand a divorce (which in the opinion of the
husband is an act of infidelity). Perpetrates of the honour killings are
often camouflaged or are not investigated. They are rampant in backward
rural areas beset by poverty and illiteracy.
The pathetic fact is that even if a wife impeaches her husband of
adultery, she is brutally murdered on the pretext of saving the
`honour' of the husband. When on adultery a wife is treated as a
social stigma then why at all a husband is exonerated of adultery even
if he is a womanizer?
Keeping in view the theory of gender egalitarianism the only one
solution to this problem is to dissolve the orthodox meaning of the
prevailing word "honour" and redefine it.
Parents should ensure that the emancipatory changes being brought by
them in the life of their progenies are under their control. Too much of
freedom or humiliation can outbreak the revolts; creating a bridge gap
differences in the generations. The Scarelette Keeling's murder in
Goa is an impeccable representation of how the excessive freedom proves
to be a pivot of sully for the progenies. In the same way the children
should respect the feelings of their parents and should understand that
their parental ideology is not vague but is just for fortifying their
own future. This way the arising mooted situations can be molted to a
mutually agreeable solution safeguarding the honour of the family.

iBusiness is different from the sponsored  iGovernment

To all

The bureaucrats are clever. They have been able to
survive as the rulers of Indin people right from the
colonia era. They will make real development
impossible.

At the end of this note a description of iGovernment
web platform is given. This is how bureaucracy
supported by peers created by them confuses the
matters. To us the true Government is given by the
formula

Government = eGovernment + iGovernment

where eGovernment is governmental component of
eBusiness and iGovernment is its dialectical opposite.

In Dhumakot Sanglia context the Government of
Uttarakhand is the eGovernment and Phatte ki Sarkar
which appears as column in Pyara Uttarakhand is
iGovernment.

The description of the sponsored iGovernment is just
another expression for eGovenment.

Kindly comment.

Description of Bureaucracy sponsored iGovernment

i-Government is a dynamic, interactive web platform
and info-portal on e-Governance in India. It aims at
filling the existing gap of peer-to-peer learning and
capacity building amongst policy makers, judiciary,
bureaucrats, academicians, and the vendor community
across India, as well as those in other public
services.

While the prime objective is to create a platform for
sharing knowledge on how technology can be used and is
being used elsewhere or in parts across the country to
improve governance, the portal also aims at equipping
e-Gov champions with information for better strategies
and policies for good governance.

The 'I' in iGovernment stands for IT-enabled,
information-based, intelligent government and
Internet-enabled citizen service delivery. It also
stands for the critical component of integrated
approach towards all government to government
transactions, without which it would be difficult to
meet the UN Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) within
the year 2015 time frame. Not to forget that India has
its own National e-Governance Plan (NeGP) to meet.

All these through 24X7 news updates, on-the-ball
follow up stories and reports, objective analysis,
thought provoking columns, detailed case studies and
insightful nation wide surveys.

Dear Ramprasadji,
There is no disputing the fact that eGovernance is the answer to the
aspiration of people who ant to be a part of the process. In context of
Uttarakhand, it is equally true. More importantly, literacy being high in
Uttarakahnd, given the facilities of connectivity, it will be possible for
the govt. to reach the people and have the feedback provided ,of course, the
politicians have the willpower ! Provided , of course!

Discover the 90/10 Principle.

Posted by: "Mrs. C K Pandey" ckpandey2005@yahoo.com   ckpandey2005

You curse.
